About

I've had a passion for building websites since I was 13. Now, here I am with over twenty years of design experience with 17 years of that being in the industry. I think that websites are one of the best tools to showcase yourself and your personality.

Red Umbrella was founded after FOSTA to fill a hole when others fled. Sick of seeing sites held hostage or outright abandoned, I decided I wanted to do things differently. Setting up securely offshore, I took on the task of both hosting and design until bigger and better anonymous hosting options were available. Now, I am free to focus on design, the wiki, and the collective.

I believe in true ownership. I am just the architect, but you own the house. I genuinely enjoy helping you bring your creative visions to life. All sites you pay for belong to you, always. I will also never force you to appear in my portfolio. While I am always touched and honoured if you opt in, it is not anyone's business who built your site unless you make it their business.

Handcoded HTML, CSS, and a sprinkling of JavaScript. Fast, lightweight, and built to last. One page or multi-page options available. Private Content Stores and custom builds are also offered.

Want to build your own site but need some help? Let's do it together. We'll walk through it step by step with screen sharing, and by the end of the session you'll have a page ready for your photos, dates, and content. The more people you bring, the cheaper it gets. Price listed is per person.

I do not offer hosting on my servers. I am happy to recommend affordable, private webhosts that I feel would best suit your needs.

Most standard builds are completed within 2 to 4 weeks from deposit to delivery. I frequently deliver one page and simple sites within 7 days.

Half up front, half on delivery. Variety of flexible and discreet methods.

Every package includes 30 days of hands on care and touch ups at no additional cost. I offer monthly retainer fees or an hourly rate for performance monitoring, analytics breakdowns, site updates, and content management.
